Very nice golf course. Fair pricing for the value. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Courteous, too. Played yesterday, Nov 17th and you couldn't help but notice that all fairways, greens and tee boxes were without the usual Fall leaves. Never had to hunt for a ball all day. I play there weekly and use their great practice range at least one more time each week. And it's not just right around the corner for me. I make a half hour ride to get there, but it's well worth it.
This is the greatest golf course I have ever played!
From the nice driving range to and exceptional course. Each hole has 360⁰ gorgeous views. (I just played it 11.11.2023) The course is extremely fair for play and the greens are as well. Every fair way, rough, and green are immaculatly cut and trimmed.
I love their motto, "a country club feel for the public"
I would create a vacation just to play this course everyday. Just phenomenal!
This was not just golf but an all out senses experience.
Props to the clubhouse, the Marshall, and the ground crew.
Quality public course with good conditions, nice patio snack bar and doing the right things right - like multiple coolers of towels in ice cold water and ice cubes out on course for the 90+ heat. My traveling group of 22 had a very nice time today.
First Time playing Fox Chase. We drove and hour 45 minutes because we wanted to play some new courses. The course is very scenic and was in excellent condition. The people that worked there were very friendly. It was nice playing with someone who knew the course and could direct us on some of the more challenging holes. The greens were fast but very predictable.
We played 2 different courses in two days and decided that we would definitely come back to Fox Chase for another round.
Greens, fairways, rough are in great condition! Love the greens. Smooth and predictable speed (although I can’t read greens to save my life!). Great driving range. I think it’s grass during the day and mats at night. Nice ball machine to easily get balls too. Course is very nice. Fun place to play.
Beautiful course, always in great shape, but we went out Labor day only to find that they were sending groups out on both front and back nine and we were behind a group of golfers (4 younger guys, 3 carts and two children likely around 5 - 6 years old) that made for a difficult pace of play. Overall it wasn't like an overbooked scramble, but we were waiting on every shot and one hole took nearly 25 minutes because the guys wouldn't hit until the group ahead was off the green and once the beverage cart met them, time stood still. If a course charges the highest public rate in the county, they should aim to make for a great golf experience.
Great golf course. One of the better courses I've played in the Harrisburg area. Worth the drive and will be back. The course was in good condition and had some challenging holes. If you're a longer hitter, I'd suggest playing some of the longer tee boxes. The course is not very long, but still a tough layout. Greens were in great shape. Well stocked pro shop.
Very surprised how nice this course was and reasonably priced. Greens and fairways excellent, well manicured, kudos to the greenskeeper! Met the owner, he and staff super friendly. Will definitely return next year. This is the way golf should be!
